Layoffs? Employment % is at an all-time high. Maybe you have a point. When that series decisively turns down, you know the inflation induced profit squeeze is upon the corporations and they will have to reduce their major fixed cost. However, by then the cat will be out of the bag and the stock market will be in the tank.
