On a subjective basis, this upswing could still last until the FOMC meeting on TUE, since NEWS/FUNDAMENTAL changes can over-ride technicals on a short-term basis.

What happens if he does not raise rates specificly on TUE. I strongly believe that a rate decrease on TUE, not later, is now being priced into the market. Even if rates are decreased, we could still see a selloff. Its that old saying, BUY ON RUMORS - SELL ON NEWS.
