Dialogic products specially suited to this cost-sensitive market include the recently introduced VoiceBrick(tm), the DVM(tm), and custom in-switch media PCs.
Designed as self-contained platforms for voice mail, auto attendant, fax and other CT applications, the VoiceBrick, DVM and custom in-switch versions offer enterprise level technology for smaller office environments at an affordable price. Powerful and Affordable Solutions
VoiceBrick is a complete voice processing platform enabling OEMs to build solutions that connect to a wide variety of small key systems and PBXs. The product integrates all the components needed in a two-or four-port voice messaging system into one reliable solid state, diskless platform. VoiceBrick does not require integration into a PC server or other computer chassis, therefore installation is simple and can be performed in minutes, saving developers additional hardware integration time and expense.
VoiceBrick uses field-proven Dialogic CT technology and is API-compatible with the standard D/41D and D/41H series voice processing boards. It requires no batteries, no board installation, and no additional hardware, making it ideal for entry-level, business grade voice processing. All that developers need to do is download their DOS application software onto the product. This lowers the system integration costs for OEMs and gives the small office market access to enterprise-level voice messaging and call processing at an affordable price.
For applications requiring expanded storage capability and port extensibility, the DVM/400 and DVM/4000 combine the core elements required for voice mail/voice messaging, auto attendant, IVR and other CT applications on a media PC. A PC motherboard with integrated DIALOG/4 voice processing technology, the DVM includes a hard drive, CPU, RAM, and two to five ISA expansion slots. These add-in slots allow for the addition of fax, network connectivity and other technologies. The DVM products offer an economical way of bringing solid, business-grade voice and voice/fax processing to the growing small systems market where flexibility and growth are important considerations.
