I really hate to have to say this, and I try not to mention it more than once every six weeks or so, but that frog of mine is STILL alive. Two days ago I fed him some ants that stung me (nothing serious, just little bites) and I thought maybe he wouldn't survive them. But he ate them all up.

I notice on marketgauge that the specialist and members trends are extremely bearish; insiders are still buying, and nothing else is very decisive except the old reliable long-term things like P/Es and dividend yield.

This market is like the Ottoman Empire. When I was a child the Ottoman Empire had only been gone a few decades and you could still collect postage stamps issued by that entity which had existed since the thirteenth century.
