Not only do I remember them all, I have them all! I also remember SQL*Calc, SQL*Star, SuperUFI, RPT, SQL*ReportWriter and Sedona. What is your point? With all of their products that were "failures" to some degree or another, Oracle is still the dominant database company. I remember Ingres, Cullinet, Informix and Sybase also. If you judge a company based on its technical missteps then Microsoft should have gone down the tubes as soon as DR-DOS was released. If they survived that, then OS/2 should have killed Windows (and all of our VCRs would be Beta formatted).

If there is a particular development group (or developers) at Oracle who you know are involved with iFS and are not up to the job, I'd love to hear about it. Until then, I'll reserve judgment until I actually get my hands on the product. If it works as advertised (hey, I only saw Larry's demo; twice now) it can be big trouble for NT and Netware.
