Tippet, The funny thing is that that was exactly the implication! That he was "tight with the Chairman"!! And you're thinking-yeah-about like my maid knows what's going on at my husband's company.... I think that people want to believe that the Fed can keep us from becoming part of the global meltdown, protect us with their little ratecuts, they don't get the concept of a weakening dollar, etc. See? You heard what I heard. You just don't speak that weird sublanguage either!!! That's why we're bears.
