Thanks for posting this news, Tony, about how the analysts interpret Greenspan's words. How nice that this bullish interpretation coincided with the biotech road show. Ligand's price recovered lots today, though I'm still showing paper losses. ------------------ >> GREENSPAN SIGNALED that the Fed is prepared to lower interest rates in response to the effects of the continuing global economic crisis on the U.S. economy. >> Greenspan Signals That Fed Is Prepared to Lower Rates << [Presumably announcing it in the meeting next Tuesday.] ------------------ I like READING Greenspan. He's about the only economist I can understand. So I like to PRINT and read the original, OUTLINE the main points as if it were a homework assignment (which is the way I read EVERYTHING anyhow), and compare my take with the analysts --then file it. I'm going to take notes on both takes from now on, and then note what actually happens and when. It should be an interesting experiment for me. (I like experiments.
