David Smith - if you're still lurking.. I have often wondered what percentage of OTC guys make it to listing. I suspect that would be a telling statistic on just how speculative these companies are. You want to know how speculative these companies are? I will tell you how speculative these companies are. There is an SI International Open Stock Picking Contest thread which allows each contestant to pick 5 stocks. At the time of this post, 133 different contestants are listed in descending success order. Only the first 18 contestants were up, the other 115 contestants were losers (sorry). If you think this is bad, it is much worse. The contest allows shorting and the top 5 contestants all made their money and contest position by shorting. You can click on the contestant's name and see their portfolio. If you analyze the data, things look bleak. conda.com It seems that money in general is leaving the speculative markets and is leaving the current holders high and dry. Should we start a new thead... Want to lose $1000 a week trading.....I'm going to try!!! David
