I suppose I asked for that one. But I hope you can admit that transitioning from pure channel to a mixed model does present significant problems that have to be addressed by the manufacturer, the channel and their lawyers. I maintain it's very difficult; you may feel it's doable. We'll agree to disagree.

Web-enabled TV will sell, but there are precious few dedicated browser only PCs out there, and the TV doesn't present the same experience, so few of those sales will be lost to set top boxes. (If you can afford the set top box you can probably afford the PC.) But again, this is not Dell's market so we're only looking at growth into future markets, not Dell's bread and butter business. In short it doesn't affect Dell.
