Gordon - Re: "I just read somewhere today that IBM is going to sell some new desktops in the $1000 range with both speech recognition and AMD chips. " IBM will ship Aptivas with 350 MHz K6-2s, 350 MHz Pentium IIs and 400 MHz Pentium IIs with speech recognition. They will ship a $899 Aptiva with a 333 MHz K6-2 WITHOUT speech recognition. Paul
