Bargain Watch: nice SVEC switching 10/100 hubs at Onsale Onsale.com is selling some nice networking stuff currently at onsale.com . (For some reason, I find that their networking bargains are consistently among their best. ) In this case, I've been looking for a hub that is compact, quiet, and industrial strength, and the "SVEC 5-Port 10/100 Dual Speed Hub with built-in Switching (New)" that can usually be had for the $99 minimum bid fits the bill in all these respects--doesn't even have an audible fan, and I get great performance. Switching is a nice bonus--if I have a need to connect regular 10 base t to the fast hub, I'm all set. They also have the 8 port model for $199.
