Dan, re: the source of your confusion. You refuse to argue the point. You accused all Republicans of being dishonest. That is a ridiculous statement and I pointed out just how ridiculous it was.

Instead of recognizing the point of my response, you started shouting about all kinds of different things that are irrelevant to the issue I raised with you. When I pointed that out, you repeated the performance. When I pointed out that you were shouting, you put in even more time and effort into copying other even less relevant opinion rather than simply admitting that the charge I contested was, as you now finally sort-of admit, "a fairly broad, cynical statement about politicians [no, you were specific - you said Republicans, Dan] in general.

It has taken you days and thousands of words of copied text to get back to the issue. Thank you.

Now, may I ask about one other point you raised?

As to your suggestion that we put it to a vote: We live in a representative republic - not one that is supposed to be a statistical democracy. I also believe that Polls are the tools of those who wish to influence, not the measure of the appropriate way to decide an issue. That's why we elect representatives.

Mr. K.
