This is probably true on the face of it BUT...
The men are so traumatized by the judge's decision to strip him financially and if his wife does not make a convincing argument to the judicial system that he molested the daughter, son, or physically and mentally abused his wife, he will have some privileges left, aside from the great big one of providing child support through college for her children. He has to get re-married because he wants to know that it wasn't his fault, his ex just flipped the switch and the deal was done. Her decision to be married, her decision to get a divorce.

From the woman's angle, she now has a steady stream of income and she really has little need for the male, unless she feels blue and wants someone to hold her hand, take her to dinner, listen to her stories about her granmother, mother, father, sisters, brothers, cousins, uncles, aunts, childhood dreams, dreams, childhood friends, high school boyfriends, college boyfirends, how badly her husband treated her, what her in-laws said about their relationship, and/or have sex with her.
