<<Question is: do we think apple will have the #1 selling computer in September (since the iMac became #2 in only 17 days of sales in the month)? This would be astounding news if it can happen. Anyone think it will/won't? Personally-I think we are going to see it happen.

I think iMac will become #1 in September due to the following reasons:

(1) Booming overseas iMac sales since the end of August, from Japan,
to Europe. Overseas revenues account for nearly 50% of Apple total
revenues in last quarters. Japan is a good example of successful
story on iMac sales overseas. I think it appears to be terrific in
Europe, especially France. Besides, pent-up demand will also apply
on overseas markets.

(2) Educational demand continues particularly before/after schools
open, which could extend its peak sales another couple of weeks in
September, both apply on US and worldwide markets.

(3) From the percentage difference between HP's Palivion 6330 and
iMac, it won't be difficult for iMac to exceed HP's judged from period
of time extended from 17 days in August to 30 days in September.

I'm pretty confident that iMac will be #1 in September.
