I wonder why we do not hear the same from other PC companies? re:The US West system runs 4 times faster than SBC, any ideas why they don't go full speed? Cost at the time and standards and distance limits (as the speed goes the distance to telco central office (CO)) goes down. The xDSL (as you can see I keep using xDSL since there is HDSL and ASDL and others alpha bits throw in) world is fragmented, a tower of babble if you will. I have stopped following the industry for a couple of quarters. But, maybe some of the problems have been worked out, such as TI (through the AMTI) and MOT (copper gold was MOTs chips) both having cheap chips out. Greg
