HALIFAX, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - Mr. Fred George reports Gammon Lake Resources
has arranged a rights offering with a record date Of Sept. 15, 1998 and an
expiration date of Dec. 14 1998. Gammon Lake has issued one right for each
share held as at the record date. Four rights and $1.30 are required to
subscribe for one share of Gammon Lake.
The rights offering is being made on a best efforts basis. Up to
2,013,720 shares could be issued for gross proceeds of $2,617,836. The
proceeds will be applied to mineral exploration on Gammon Lake's properties in
Mexico and Nova Scotia, with the balance for working capital purposes.
The Canadian Dealing Network has approved a visible quotation of the
rights of Gammon Lake. Trading under the symbol GAML.RT will be available
effective Sept. 23 1998.
