Cool. Fred G is in also, but slightly lower. I use quote.com and often see rather weird trades go through after the market closes. Quote.com calls them "firm trades". I don't know what they are but they sure are strange. Only thing I can think of is the instinet bid/ask spread must be really wide and quotes must be fluctuating wildly. If you want in or out bad enough, I figure people will pay just about anything, even ridiculous figures like 16 9/16. Maybe the best they could do at the time at the last minute. Maybe the instinet quote at 16:45 was $15 x $16 9/16 and the order before that was a sell at $15.

I can only speculate as to what will happen tomorrow. After the big run up today, I'd expect the S&P Futures to be off--maybe enough to cause a gap down--who knows. Didn't get the really strong close I like to see. Price held up reasonably well throughout the day. It just didn't seem strong enough with enough volume the latter half of the day to expect a gap up tomorrow--but that's just my impression.
