dear freddy,
ML is warning the street not to expect good numbers.
you can expect others to start to warn also.

in fact, not only did wasserstein perella forecast a 46% mkshare,
but so did Robbie stephens, as follows:

RS report 22.6.98 "TLC's Apr share 35.9%, plus Sofsource's 4% and
Brod's 5.7% would give TLC more than 45%..."

the message is clear, August's report will have TLC mktshare at only 34%.

Total revenue Q3 growth will be 5% +/- that's 15 points lower than all analysts forecasts of 20%.

and freddie you're right in assuming that TLC will make its eps numbers...by using lower O/S count as always...or adding to the channel, using greater write offs or even using the psuedo-non factoring loan agreement to artificially lower DSO's...
