Hi Jim,

I'd assume that they get a flare permit for 50 MMCF and I would assume that they will flow about 5 MMCF during completion "cleanup" operations leaving about 45 MMCF available to flare on the flow test.

If they do a 4 point test, they'll flow about 8 MMCF doing the 4 points and then if they drop the rate more than normal (so as to maximize reservoir data collection) to ~5 MMCF/D for the extended flow the total flow test (including shutins) would be about 8-1/2 days.

If they do only a single point test, it will last between 9 days (@5 MMCF/d) and 15 days (@3 MMCF/d). The lower the flow rate, the "further into the reservoir" they will actually look with the test, assuming that they flow the same total volume of gas.

Later,
grayhairs

P.S. -- The well will be scouted this weekend.
