The "whisper number" for AMZN: earningswhispers.com Seems investors have been trained to expect the lowered earnings (increased losses) to be exceeded. This could back-fire this time around because now everyone expects "better than forecast" performance. yea right, -.46 will be a whole lot better than -0.54!
