Troy, Your last post prompted more thought than Irene could muster in an F5 brainstorm. Irene doesn't like SOLV and it's my guess that she drew the shortest straw during Today's assignment meeting and wrote however many words her editor required. The result: The Pulitzer prize...of course. You ask interesting questions, but I'm quite sure that context and accuracy were not Irenes' goal.
