CMGI's enviable position in the growth of the web was why I bought in. The runup today tells me that we'll see the internet stocks take another run. In the long run, Microsoft, Cisco, Lucent, Intel, Dell, AT&T, (and other large caps) and only a few of the larger number of smaller Internet startups will ultimately prosper from the Internet boom. It's quite likely that CMGI will be one of the beneficiaries.
