I don't get it. Redchip Review (12/11 issue) in an update to their original recommedation, says "growth stock, wrapped in the cloak of a turnaround, disguised as a value play. it turns out that we were closer than we thought on that description". "Estimates of disk drive, profit margin contributions range between figures in the low teens to $35 per drive". "Even got the conservative Analyst Mr. Trbovich's attention". "A 1996, $8.00 fair market price , base value for just the recording and automated library businesses".

The only uncertainity until today was - IF keepring will be accepted. Todays anouncment proves that it will be. Redchip's ultra conservative 15% market penetration gives it a $25 target (at a conservative p/e of 20) in the next couple of years. And what does the market do today - $10-$11, no way, I think at this price, this is a virtual no risk buy, I am buying more.

Also you can see the effect of keepering on hard disks in an illustration obtained using Magnetic Force Microscopy at best.com

P.S. Have you all looked at Mr. Edward Bramson's letter? ampex.com
