Gene, I've been reading your posts over the past year about how the AMD K6-233 started a slide in processor prices not only for Intel , but also for all cpu makers. The intro of the K6-300 mobile looks as though it could trigger a similar destabilization of the mobile cpu market.

Do you have any comments at this time on the possible effects on earnings (best case and worst case scenario) for Intel over the next 4 qtrs.?

Intel has little in the pipeline regarding new product in the mobile market (only PII-333) to be intro-ed in the first half of 1999. What else besides price drops, do you see Intel doing to fend off AMD?

Is another genie about to leave the lamp?
