INVESTMENT BANKER JOINS COMPANY'S BOARD

BPI INDUSTRIES INC. (the "Company") (BPR - VSE) is pleased to announce that Mr. R. Stuyvesant Pierrepont III has joined the Company as a director.

Mr. Pierrepont, aged 44, is Senior Vice President, Secretary and a Director of Triumph Resources Corporation, a New York investment bank that specializes in financing and advising energy companies. Mr. Pierrepont has been with Triumph since 1982. He serves as a Director to several other companies and brings to BPI a wealth of experience in growing E & P companies.

Mr. Pierrepont will replace Mr. Costa Vrisakis on the board. The Company looks forward to working with an individual of Mr. Pierrepont's experience and expertise.
