61 posts since my last check!!! average post 41.2 words. Taking into account that the posts went from 0 to 61 in my 12 hour hiatus, that's an acceleration rate of 1.629 words per second squared. Taking the average word having 8 letters and integrating this result, we have a hand velocity 0.9174 letters per second. If we subtract the time between post and only account for typing time, I would have to say that our combined average typing speed is 27 words per minute or 216 keystrokes per minute or 3.6 keys per second. At this rate, one could theoretically type 38880 word in a day. Therefore, if we all chip in, we could complete my next 10,000 word essay in about 2 hours. Colin
