*AV*--You forgot to add BYDS to that list. My only saving grace is that I got stopped out of SAMC with a 12% loss and CIG became just under break even because of the huge profit on the original IPO shares that were sold off. However, on a transactional basis, all 3 were huge disasters.<GGG> I just proves that once you wander beyond your expertise, SLAM BAM, the Brick Wall pops up right in front of you.
If nothing else, your post and this post should act as a warning. Know your area of expertise and do not follow others who venture outside of theirs.
And for the record, there are 10 stocks that I could have screwed up on. PLSIA, ATIS, SAMC, SOC, HOT, PWJ, G, PTEC, CIEN, and a company that would put me in hot water if I mentioned it here. So, I did actually avoid quite a few disasters.<GGG>
