MANOHAR KANURI;

I agree but you are talking about buying into the kinds of fundamentals that take a very long time to play out. My aunt is 87 and she bought Philip Morris, maybe a dozen shares, back in the thirties or forties. She never sold so now she has 22,000 shares. We should all live as long as my aunt or Warren Buffet but at 87 what can she do with it, anyway? For that same reason I own Medtronic. I'm playing a demographic trend. They make pacemakers. I know that over time, a very long time, I can't lose if I live long enough. With Seagate my horizon isn't that long. We're talking about 2-3 years. If Seagate survives another 15 years in some form we would all be winners because the world isn't really computerized yet. Only 35-40% of US households have them. We're just at the beginning of this era. In fact, it will probably go on beyond our children's lifetimes. We should all live so long.
