Dan - If the candidate has already made up their mind as to grounds, their constituents have a right to know (they also have an obligation to consider the lack of a sense of constitutionally-defined duty on the part of that candidate). If the candidate has not made up their mind, again, you can't have a right to know something that isn't known.

If we want to rush to judgement as you imply, why bother with impeachment? Why not just take up pitchforks and torches and march on the White House?
