Matsushita To Launch DVD-RAM Drive For Macintosh Thursday September 24 10:14 AM EDT TOKYO (Reuters) - Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd (MC - news) said today it will in October launch digital video disc random-access-memory (DVD-RAM) drives compatible with Apple Computer Inc (AAPL - news)'s Macintosh computers. The new product would retail for 100,000 yen, Matsushita said in a statement. In April, Matsushita launched sales of DVD-RAM drives compatible with Microsoft Corp (MSFT - news)'s Windows operating system.
