Here is a good example of what we were talking about. Yesterday the last transaction was someone buying shares from a MM for the ask price of .75. This morning someone decides to sell to the MM for the bid price of .60 and all of a sudden PINC looks like its down %20. MMs make a really nice profit when the spread (difference between bid and ask) is wide. I see now that the spread is a more reasonable 5/8 x .687. On suggestion is to make sure to use a quote service that shows the bid and ask. www.freerealtime.com does this and its free.
