I placed an order to buy the SPZ at 1060 and did not get filled--for a day trade.

There is some support around the 55-58 level--not too far below that is where my system goes short.

It would not surprise me if we did not end up closing flat or up by the close of trading.

I think that you'll do fine on your puts--even if you end up sweating it out a bit.

I notice that the EBAY IPO at 18 opened at 53+ -- so I guess the bull and the froth is alive and well:) At least EBAY makes a small profit, unlike some of the other net companies. I guess that I am just too conventional/short-sighted to see the value in these companies at these prices.

I got a call from a guy who was given my name as a reference by my realtor. He is 37 years old and just sold his tech related company and done well enough that he was going to be semi-retired -- told me that he would just do a little private investing. Sign of the times, I guess.

Re Clinton and Word--yes that is what happens--it was sent to me by someone in an e-mail. It is neat--but really non-partisan--you can try any other name and you'll get the same answer.
