Russia Today Brief CHUBAIS PREDICTS WORSE TO COME FOR RUSSIAN ECONOMY The architect of Russia's privatization program, Anatoly Chubais, announced Wednesday that he believes the situation in Russia is poised to become worse. Chubais, who lost his deputy prime minister's post in March, remains the head of the Russian power grid, EES. He told journalists that he fears the new government's policies will lead to what he termed "Soviet madness." Said Chubias, "You can argue just how deep the retreat will be...But the fact that a retreat will come is inevitable."
