RE:buy-ins:

I received a buy-in warning concerning SRCM and TRBD from Datek. I was already preparing to close these positions, so the timing wasn't a problem. What does worry me and probably everyone else is the possibility of a buy-in when one can least expect or afford such an occurence.

I use seven different brokers. I called each one today in regards to the availibility of shares in SRCM and TRBD. Datek is the only broker who is buying-in. I was told by most there are plenty of shares to borrow and not one had performed a buy-in of these stocks in the past.

This whole situation is extremely fishy, especially considering SRCM price action today. If Datek wanted they could certainly obtain shares from other clearing agencies.
