Lar ---- I'm so cheap with my boxes for the internet usage that I can replace most of the time without the insurance ....... I did change out the mother board and went to a Cyrix something (seems like 200+k) for a temp repair and kicked the mem to 64k........ and if I hadn't been in a hurry I could have done the similar for under $150 ....... but what with my kids and grandkids "borrowing" my spares ...... I was down to nothing but a 486 doorstop this time ....... I usually have 2 or 3 in various states of readiness ........ ggggg but the realestate remod jobs and the dang ol worn out knee have occupied my attention for the recent past .... Thanks for the suggestion, tho ........ besides all that, I got into a squabble with my ISP ---- squabble, heck ..... one sided discussion and I was the only one talking ....... ggggg ..... put me in mind of your earlier post about " if you don't like the way we do things, go somewhere else ........ GGGGGG " or at least, I think that it was you .... I"ve read so many posts in the past hour ...... but , at any rate .... things will level out and I'll probably win enough at Lone Star Park this evening that I won't care ...... gggggg Regards ---- Nemer
