LOGITEK Reports Contract With General Dynamics
RONKONKOMA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 1998--LOGITEK INC. (OTCBB:LGTK - news) today announced receipt of an order from General Dynamics with potential valuation of approximately $500,000.
The current order of $250,000 calls for LOGITEK to supply power supplies for use on the M1 Tank upgrade program. LOGITEK expects a follow-on of an additional $250,000 early next year. These units are used in the System Enhancement Package (SEP) to provide power to the commanders display unit (CDU) providing field visual display.
''Based on the nature of this program which involves 1080 tanks over several years management feels that the prospect for continued business for this part beyond the current and projected requirements is excellent,'' commented Fischer, LOGITEK's CEO.
LOGITEK INC. manufactures and markets electronic power monitors and controls and electronic power supplies for use in major electronic systems such as data processing and telecommunications equipment as well as aircraft, missiles and space vehicles.
