There are 3 million shares waiting to be sold in addition to the existing institutional
potential sellers! No one will be buying and everyone will be shorting whenever the
sellers sell!

Jan,

Let's not forget the recent acquisitions. If you read the SEC filings closely, you will find the insiders of thos companies have option as part of their pay package in the amount of 9.6 million shares. The agreement was AMZN was to give these people AMZN shares in place of Jungalee and Planet All options. I do not know when all will be vested. I am certain at various times. However, that is a very large amount of dilution in addition to the 3 million shares paid for the acqusition of the companies.

I love it when AMZN files these reports with the SEC late on a Friday night. I suppose they feel no one reads them.

I sum, the acquisitions of Plane All and Jungalee comes to 12.6 million shares.

I just thought I would discuss fundamentals again. I find them interesting and find it so difficult to come to grips with the concept that AMZN is a concept stock. Reality will show by 2001. I know it is a ways away but I will be saying I told you so to some<G> I need to do that to make me feel better.

Glenn
