So you don't believe him either. I remember those days very well. There was a large amount of MM to MM trading along with high volume buying going on and so the actual number of shares sold was a small percentage of the total volume. That whole week was like that. Under an ideal selling scenario, I'm not certain that I could have averaged much more than 1.30 if I tried to sell 600K shares. Sure, knowing what we know now about the volumes and prices for that week, I could try to curve fit the perfect selling strategy but my selling volumes would have destroyed the curve. It is absurd for people to say that I gave up 2.30 x 600K a day and it is more absurd for someone to say that they sold over one million shares above 2.30. No way no how.
