Robert : Something is happening right now. The iceberg is turning over. It is clear massive defaults are shortly to be exposed. Especially if the gold market is as short as you say.

No-one knows where to "hide". Or what to do. However....

During the past week the SAf Rand has strengthened by 10% and that is after it had gone up by 20% in the previous weeks. Long bond rates have fallen from 20.5% to 17%. Money is coming into South Africa. I can't tell you from where. Or why. But it is pouring in.

Now remember, if the Rand is firm and the US dollar is weak then SAf gold shares are an ideal currency hedge for US investors --- especially if a run on gold is anticipated --- as it is.

Someone must know something.
