"No one has put forth a case that CSCO is better off owning CIEN than partnering with CIEN. " The problem with partnering is that it can be un-partner at any time. But if you own it out right, well it is a mood point. PS: Does any one know who, LU/CIEN/ALA ??, has the most patents in the Optical technology ?
