I have been pounding the table on this stock and accumulating while the market roils and people ponder global depressions and financial system collapse.

I believe Costco is poised for another great growth spurt.

The company is now expanding in the midwest, opening new warehouses in Michigan and at least 5 in the Chicago area. I'm very excited about the Illinois warehouses in partcular, and I know that the company will do very, very well there indeed.

Not only has Costco been growing externally, but it has been growing internally as well. The warehouses have added higher margin businesses at the edges of the warehouses...pharmacy, eye exams/optical shops, snack stands, etc. The $100 "executive" membership has recently been introduced, and customers are converting at a very healthy clip.

I can not say enough good things about this fine business and its superb management.

I firmly believe that this company is reaching a stage where it is becoming as compelling a business story as Home Depot or Dell in the early 90s.
