There are some advantages to a totalitarian or facist society. Damn few, but with the right leadership... but policies in these societies seem to disappear with their authors.

Japan - but they at least pretended to be a multi-party system. Jiang just pledged the single dominance of the Communist Party "because of it's history of success".
Ohoh. He been reading those State Approved books again.
