As far as buying stock just to have the certificate isn't feesable
because you have to pay a commision fee. Yes you can get cheap
commision fees from suretrade or some other online discounter but they will not put your shares in certificate form they only keep
your shares in street name. I know I use suretrade and you can't
talk to a person there.
