How many times does it have to be said? Not one of the 11 possibly impeachable offenses cited by Starr had to do with the sex. They had to do with Lying (under oath in a deposition) and Obstruction of Justice.

I'm not worried that my government will take an interest in my sex life. I am worried that the highest elected official in the free world thinks its ok to parse words -- "that depends on what your definition of the word is is..." -- in an attempt to avoid telling the truth. Remember the line, "I didn't break any of the laws of the United States" when asked if he'd smoked marijuana? Technically true, since he was in England at the time. Forthright and reflecting good moral character? I think not. Remember the 60 minutes show where he denied a 12 year affair with Jennifer Flowers? What was denied was the 12 years. It's been confirmed he had the affair.

I don't want someone as the leader of this country who thinks so little of the oath, "do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth," that he lies and continues to lie, both under oath and to the American public. I have a 10 year old daughter. What do I say to her about principles of honesty and integrity when the President makes a point of lying under oath?

IMHO, Bill Clinton's conduct is a far greater threat to this country and what it stands for than any illegal taping by a private citizen.
