Thanks for your insights and comments Robert. I follow many of the stocks you mentioned. Good advice to anyone reading this about CTQ. Some persons on SI would just say BUY BUY BUY. I love the story of CTQ but the risk/reward for me at current prices makes me a spectator.
TKR: I'm out of Takla for now and will wait to see what develops. Interesting comments about large shareholders bailing. I have a close banking friend who has some close TKR contacts. I will see if he has heard similar rumours. If they are true this stock might be down until VB drilling next Apl/May.
QTR: I purchased 1/3 of what I want last week at 1.30 and placed an order for the rest at 1.00 good until the end of the month. I guess we were waiting for the same price but I don't think it will get that low. Great portfolio of properties. I like their chances.
PGD: Strong/consitent gains last week. I like this stock as well. I wish I had picked up more a few weeks ago.

If you follow Stockmans forum I've recently sent in a request to startup an Edmonton Chapter. It would be a group of Edmonton area individuals who would like to occasionaly get together and discuss stocks, share information, etc. We might even have some sort of Battle of Alberta because I see that Calgary has a Chapter. Here is the cream of the crop of the stocks I'm following which you have not mentioned yet. I have not included KRT or FLA because I believe you are already familiar with these stocks. I'm not hyping these stocks so please forgive me if you're not interested:
Pacific Rim (PFG) - thread here on SI. Talk to Shirley Owen if you have any questions. She is very knowledgable about this stock in a fact based non-hype way. Tell her I sent you.
Diadem (DIR) - Another mutual fund type stock with many properties all over the world (California diamonds, Indonesia jv's with Bresea, other Indo jv's, 2 properties in Quebec for Ni Cu Co, and recently acquired a gold deposit in Nicaragua. I probably missed some of their properties. Check out the SI thread if interested.
Yamana (YRI) - South Amer and Indo properties. Check SI thread for more info.
IRL, IPJ, PCR, FOR, SXG, and ESX are other stocks with good properties, excellent risk/reward ratios based on current prices, and no shady backgrounds. There are others but as usual I'm dumping too much info at once.
