I think if you're *really* into daytrading you're better off with one of the brokers specializing in that. Just be sure you understand that you're getting what you're asking for. I've used MB Trading for a week now, and I must say I was surprised to find how different it is.

Compare it to driving a car: Datek is an automatic (maybe one of the better ones - nothing negative implied), MBT is a Ferrari.

The Ferrari will do 0-60 is 3 secs flat (quick entry, fills, confirms and cancels), Go 250MPH (integrated quotes and L2 display) -- but if you're stuck in the traffic you have a lot of work to do: You need to use the clutch and the gearbox (the margin system requires quite a bit of manual paperwork as there is no automatic balance during the trading day), there's no cruise control (no stop-loss functionality except for NYSE OTC stocks), costs are higher (higher brokerage fees, extras for things like L2) -- and if it starts raining you find out the wipers don't work (several bugs in the interface).

Pro and cons on both sides, depends on what you use it for.
