HOUSTON, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearWorks Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: CLWK) today announced that it has been selected as an IBM Authorized Home Systems Integrator. In this capacity, ClearWorks will provide installation, service and support for IBM's home networking system, Home Director.
Home Director integrates common household systems including security, lighting, heating and air conditioning, network-enabled PCs to form an intelligent Home Network. The Home Network brings convenience, security, energy management, and connectivity to the home -- from turning off a light left on by the children at the other end of the house to using information from the security system to activate a routine that will turn off lights and adjust the thermostats to an energy saving level. All controlled through a simple, easy-to-use interface using the television, light switches, and other everyday devices.
