I think you're right Prospector.. I saw a report a few months ago where the Red Cross spent millions & millions of dollars on this new center they built in Utah for collecting, processing, storing & distributing blood throughout the Western region.

There is big money in blood.. I also recall a story about PHER-02 having trouble with the FDA in it's FIRST generation. Seems like the RC had something to do with throwing cold water on the process way back then until it was exposed.
