Don, I too hold for years. I expect to own Globalstar and Qualcomm in 2001. But maybe more of them each time people get in a panic over something. I bought more Qcom at $32. If I didn't have capital gains tax to contend with, and brokerage to contend with, [in NZ we don't pay capital gains tax unless we "trade" shares; they have a rough definition of "trade"] I would switch from Globalstar to Qualcomm. Qualcomm is going to continue rapid revenue growth and market penetration in the next 2 years, so people will be able to measure the reality of their business. Globalstar won't be real until 1998 when launching. Iridium is a few months ahead, so anticipation for Globalstar should be well under way mid 1997.

I haven't followed Loral Space - have my hands full, but from the little I know, you will probably be successful. Did you buy Qcom? Price?
