Bob,

Back in March during the first production test of the Esso well, I scouted that operation and commented at the time that it was obvious that the well would be liquid rich (either a "gassy oil well" or a "liquid (condensate) rich gas well"). I believe I estimated at the time that the well would make something in the order of 7 to 10 MMCF/d with 700 to 1000 bbls/d of oil/condensate.

On the recent flow test, following the second acid job, the well was producing about 6 MMCF/d with ~1,000 bbls liquids on a 1/2" choke!!
This well will be connected and generating very good cash flow by about year end.

In addition, the offset well to be drilled by BEA in section 15 is a high interest BEA/STF well. It is the BEST low risk offset possible to the Esso discovery. It is very well situated to encounter the "oil leg" penetrated by the Esso discovery well. Let's hope it gets license approval and spuds soon!! Then you'll have two wells putting out low H2S gas and oil!!

The 7-25 Devonian IS a high impact gas play (very sour) but can also be liquid rich. As I recall, the Hartell Devonian well tested about 40 bbls/MMCF so if you have a 25 MMCF/d gas well, you can also market 1,000 bbls/d of condensate. That will jingle in the cash register!!

Later,
grayhairs
